President Kikwete mourns Sajuki death




President of United Republic of Tanzania Dr Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete has sent his heartfelt condolences to the Minister of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports, Dr Fenella Mukangara following the death of a famous Bongo Movies Actor, Juma Kilowoko aka Sajuki which happened today morning at Muhimbili National Hospital where he was admitted for treatment.

Dr Kikwete said death of Sajuki has saddened him because he was one of Tanzanian artists who pushed the Tanzania’s Film industry to where it is today.
“Death of this artist is a great loss to Tanzanian film industry which continues to gain popularity among different people in the country…following his death I ask you as a Minister of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports to send my condolences to Juma Kilowoko family for losing its family leader”, President Kikwete said.
He asked the family of the deceased Sajuki to be patient in this difficult time.
On the other hand, President Kikwete sent his condolences to all Tanzanian artists urging them to take Sajuki death as a challenge of ensuring that they improve the acting and film industry as the best way of honouring him.
Sajuki, the actor who started his talent in Kaole Group, was firstly reported ill in 2010, then flown to India last year in May for treatment and he was nowadays running different film concerts which could help him cover the costs of his second trip to India.
